I do believe that a platonic friendship is possible even between a guy and a girl.Well a guy and a girl maybe close buddies as they may understand each other well or share a same interest with each other.Sometimes a girl/guy may understand your troubles better or you just want someone to talk to.Usually your classmates will tease you if u have a platonic friendship with an opposite sex you should just ignore them as you know its just a friend to friend relationship.
